hey lets put a stop to the whole “if you cant relate to twenty one pilots music then you cant listen to it” thing ive seen some people saying.
anyone should be able to listen to any form of music that they please. and, if someone who used to relate to the music no longer does, that means they have recovered a great amount!! that doesnt mean they cant still listen to them!
this music is here as a reminder that we’re not alone. and people who manage to heal and recover from whatever they were dealing with should be supported and praised!! not brought back down!!
and if somebody can’t listen to certain songs (or albums as a whole) because it takes their mind to a dark place, don’t shame them for not listening to those songs!! their mental health comes before anything else!!
you don’t have to have anxiety, depression, or any other mental illness in order to love twenty one pilots! you can love the band just because they mean a lot to you, and the music is amazing!! don’t ever feel like you have to bring yourself down in order to enjoy the songs
